We had the fourth of our Insights events this morning. Fifteen clients and friends had breakfast at our office before a briefing based around Technology for Business Growth. Topics touched upon included Business Goals, how to predict the Three Leaps your technology will have to take, and the Technology Trick which, if it’s missing, will stop you achieving your Business Goal. After our own session, our guest speaker Richard Thomson of TW Associates spoke about Managing Change. Richard’s focus was on Achieving Sustainable Change, including the thorny subject of why 70% of business change initiatives fail. Topics will include Getting More from Microsoft Office 365, and a look at how the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR 2018) will affect business in a typical SME environment.
