I must have done something right to get to where I am now, but like most of my computer code I have no idea how I’ve done it.
Apparently studying software engineering makes you some sort of IT god, not that I disagree… but sometimes a man just wants to eat his dinner without being asked how to fix a friend’s rubbish network speeds!
I joined Excellimore in 2016 as a placement student keen to get industry experience. From there I have made it my goal to progress my career and I must have done something right to get to where I am now.
Contrary to popular belief some people in the IT industry do enjoy the outdoors! When I’m not working, I enjoy keeping active, playing rugby and taking part in triathlons with the intention to complete an ironman race before I’m 35. I also volunteer for a mental health charity in East Lothian. Any free time I have left is usually spent exploring beaches with my dog or travelling.
